Police Record 4 More Statements

SHAH ALAM – Police have recorded four more statements in the Syaleza Jaffar murder investigation.

The four were a doctor, her son’s baby sitter, a taxi driver and a close friend, said Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah.

“However, we cannot disclose anything at the moment. They are among the witnesses who may be able to solve this murder case,” he said at a press conference at the Selangor police headquarters here Friday.

So far, police have recorded statements from 10 individuals, including colleague’s of the deceased who was an administrative executive with TV9.

Syaleza, 31, was found dead with strangulation marks on her neck in her home in Saujana Apartment, Damansara Damai, Petaling Jaya, last Saturday. – BERNAMA
