Motorist Killed In Crash Near Rompin

KUANTAN- A man was killed when the four-wheel drive vehicle he was driving, collided with an express bus in Jalan Pekan-Nenasi near Rompin yesterday.

Fong Chong Ren, 21, died on the spot from head and body injuries.

According to state public order and traffic police chief Supt Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Rahim today, the victim was heading to Pekan from Rompin when the crash occurred about 3.30pm.

He said the express bus which was ferrying 26 passengers was heading from Kuantan to Johor Baharu at the time of the crash.- BERNAMA
