Body Of Missing Boy Found In River

IPOH – The body of a seven-year-old boy who went missing in a river in Parit near here yesterday was found today, police said.

Perak Tengah Police chief Supt Mohd Fakri Che Sulaiman said the body of Mohd Azhar Daniel Mohd Azwar, a standard one pupil, was found five kilometres away from where he slipped into Sungai Kampung Dusun Hulu at about 11 am yesterday.

The body has been sent to Changkat Melintang Hospital, he said.

Mohd Fakri said Mohd Azhar Daniel slipped and was drawn into the water when he had gone for a bath in the river with two friends.

The friends had not entered the water with him. – BERNAMA
