Najib To Close Malaysia Games

KUANTAN – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will close 15th Malaysia Games (Sukma) at 8.45pm tomorrow by cycling around Stadium Darul Makmur.

Najib will be joined by his deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, several Cabinet  ministers, heads of contingents and cycling gold medal winners.

“It will continue with performances by 2,000 dancers, fireworks display and many more,” said Pahang Sukma chief executive officer Ahmad Hairi Hussain.

Najib will present the best men and best women athlete awards followed by lowering of the Sukma flag and extinguishing of the games torch.

Perlis, the host of 2014 Sukma will be then put up a performance. A lucky draw will also be held to pick 200 winners.

The crowd of about 40,000 will be entertained to songs by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Sofaz and Nubhan with comedian Nabil acting as compere. – BERNAMA
