Johor MB Admitted To Hospital For Sinus

JOHOR BAHARU – Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman was admitted to the Johor Specialist Hospital to undergo treatment for sinus.

His press secretary, Mohd Sa’odi Mat Atar said Abdul Ghani was admitted to hospital at 10pm on the doctor’s advice to seek treatment and rest.

“He has been going to the hospital for the past two or three days before being advised by the doctor to be admitted for treatment and to rest,” he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.

Mohd Sa’odi said Abdul Ghani’s condition was not serious and he was expected to be discharged from the hospital within a day or two.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who officially closed the National Education Dialogue, here today, took the opportunity to visit Abdul Ghani this afternoon before opening the Sembrong Umno division meeting at Felda Ulu Belitong, Kluang. – Bernama
