‘Do Not Buy Olympic Tickets From Euroteam Website’

KUALA LUMPUR – The police have advised Malaysians not to purchase London Olympic or Paralympic Games tickets from the websites operated by Euroteam, saying they were found to be fraudulent.

The websites operated by Euroteam are www.euroteam.net, www.tixnet.com, www.olympicticket.info, www.euroteam.info, www.euroteamtickets.com, www.2012tickets.org, www.londonsummergames.net, www.londonsummergames.org, www.euroteam.travel and www.worldticketservice.net, the police said in a statement issued here today.

The police said they are working with the United Kingdom Metropolitan Police Service (UK Met Police) on the fraudulent websites offering tickets for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Euroteam was under active investigation by the UK Met Police, they added.

The police advised individuals who have purchased tickets from these sites or any other unofficial vendor to contact the company directly and to seek advice from the method of payment provider. – Bernama
