PAS Eyeing Seven Seats In Penang

KEPALA BATAS – PAS is eyeing to win seven seats – five state and two parliamentary – in Penang in the next General Election (GE).

In his speech at the PAS’ 60th congress here today, its vice-president Datuk Husam Musa said in the next GE, the party aimed to defend its Permatang Pasir state seat and wrest six state seats and the parliamentary seats of Tasek Gelugor and Kepala Batas.

He added that PAS also wanted to contest 60 parliamentary seats nationwide in the next GE to “increase the party’s clout in Parliament.

Among the PAS leaders present were the party’s spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and Deputy President, Mohamad Sabu. – BERNAMA
