Mat Sabu Should Take Legal Action

PAS Deputy President, Mat Sabu’s ‘star’ may outshine Anwar Ibrahim with the exposure of a recorded phone-sex conversation alleged to be between him and his former ‘khalwat’ partner, Normah Halim.  The record is expected to achieve at least the same rating as Anwar’s sex video and would hit the Pakatan Rakyat hard.

Although, it was just the ‘voice’ and not ‘pictures’ that is the issue, as a ‘main suspect’, Mat Sabu should never give a ‘no comment’ answer to the reporters.  The people are asking where is the ever vocal and bold Mat Sabu?  Why is he acting indifferently in this issue?  Isn’t it his pride that is in jeopardy here?  If he has no problem losing his pride, what about the pride of Normah? A gentleman would never risk a woman’s pride even if the woman is a stranger, what more his wife.

If it’s true that the recording was a fake, Mat Sabu should come out and seek justice by taking legal action on whoever responsible.  It wouldn’t be hard to track them as the video is already uploaded into Youtube and the source can be traced easily should an investigation be initiated.

Should no action be taken by Mat Sabu, the issue would prolong and Mat Sabu would be finished with Pakatan Rakyat following close behind him.  Therefore, Mat Sabu has no choice but to face both issues ie. the communists and the phone-sex scandal at the same time.  It would be wise for the Pakatan Rakyat leaders to not interfere and make any comment at all to support Mat Sabu this time.

Mat Sabu had once handled a more difficult khalwat case well, so he shouldn’t have any problem handling these two simple cases in court.  It wouldn’t be hard to prove our innocence if we really are innocent, would it?  Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim can surely confirm this anytime…
