MAS, AirAsia Can Collaborate In Many Areas

KUALA LUMPUR – MAS and AirAsia can collaborate in areas like cargo, logistics, sales, distribution, catering and training.

“If you put MAS’ and AirAsia’s training academies together, that will become one of the biggest training academy,” said AirAsia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

Malaysia could also become Asia’s biggest trainer of pilots by harnessing the strength of the two airlines, he said when speaking at Khazanah Megatrends Forum 2011 today. – BERNAMA
