Based on the encouraging response, Idham was asked what formula did he use in Hantu Bonceng, he answered: “Hantu Bonceng is a light comedy movie suitable to be viewed by the whole family. Indirectly it can strengthen relationships among those who watched it. Besides that, there are a few messages inserted to be pondered. So for Aidilfitri, it is a must watch movie, from mat rempits to uncles and aunties who have a family.”

Hantu Bonceng is a light comedy movie suitable for the whole family, revolves around the life of Amran (played by Zizan Razak) who is continuously haunted by Maya’s spirit, a bohsia who died in an accident, after she was “won” by Amran. He asked for Kunyit’s (Tai) help to solve his problem, when his fiance, Halimaton (Jue Aziz) refused to help. However, in that situation, Ayu (Juliana Evans) appears in Amran and Halimaton’s relationship. What is the ending of their story, and will Kunyit be able to help solve Amran’s problem?

Hantu Bonceng started showing last August 31 for a period of two weeks in 80 cinemas, simultaneously in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
