Ferguson Still Not Satisfied Yet!

Although Manchester United successfully defeated Chelsea 3-1 in the English Premier League in Old Trafford yesterday, its manager, Alex Ferguson is still not satisfied yet.

United is currently ideal in the league’s top spot with five maximum wins but Ferguson said, there are more that needs to be improved by his players.

That includes after watching Wayne Rooney wasted a penalty kick in the 57th minute and how Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres missed an opening opportunity in front of United’s goal post.

“This was an interesting match with both teams displaying an open game. However we ourselves who gave problems to us.

“We easily gave the ball to our rival in the attack area and they managed to do several counter attacks. Chelsea was capable of getting two or three goals in the first half.

“But we still managed to create enough opportunity through Nani and Ashley Young. That was our strength but was not executed well,” Ferguson said.

In last night’s match, United led 3-0 in the first half through Chris Smalling (8), Nani (37) and Rooney (45) before Chelsea avenged with a goal through Torres (46).

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager, Andre Villas-Boas mourned their first defeat by considering the 3-1 result as ‘crazy’.

“An uncanny action was when the game was quite open and both teams had substantial opportunity.

“If luck was on our side, perhaps we would have successfully scored first.

“3-0 in the first half was crazy enough and difficult for us to rise in the second half,” Villas-Boas explained. -mynewshub.my
