KL Gangster 2 To Be Filmed This November
KUALA LUMPUR – KL Gangster 2 will start its filming around this November with the introduction to Rosyam Nor (picture; in the right) who will play as they main actor for the film as a sequence to the first film (KL Gangster) that generated RM12 million in ticket sales.
The film’s director, Syamsul Yusof said, the offer that was given to Rosyam is made to make KL Gangster 2 even more interesting and promises more adrenalin rush.
“At the same time, other actors such as Aaron Aziz, Adi Putra, Zizan Raja Lawak, Ridzuan Hashim and Soffi Jikan will remain in the film,” said Syamsul, quoted from ohartis.com.
Rosyam or Mohd. Noor bin Shamsuddin who had received various awards which include Best Actor (Anugerah Skrin & Bintang Popular 1997/1998), Best Actor (Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 1999) and Best TV Actor (Anugerah Sri Angkasa 2000) previously had starred in various action films.
Few of the films are KL Menjerit, Gangster, Castello and the latest film, Libas, directed by Jurey Latiff Rosli.
KL Gangster is about the life of Malek, played by Aaron Aziz who got involved in the gangster world had created a new phenomena in the local filming industry when they managed to generate RM12 million, the highest ticket sales ever recorded in history of local films.
The film produced by Skop Production that cost RM2.1 million in producing and promotions was played in 81 cinemas under the Skim Wajib Tayang where it was played for two weeks.
KL Gangster is a high quality film where the editing process was done in Siam Lab Studio in Bangkok, Thailand.
Explaining further, ohartis said, they are proud with this young director’s work who always gives the best in any of his work.
